April 2010
And another month flies by...
However, it did start with some excellent Rn'R, a week in Sorrento, Italy.
A little early to be guaranteed good weather but we were very lucky.
The season there starts in the first week of April but it looked like they weren't in much
of a hurry and were still assembling the decks and docks. One benefit was we never
had to wait for a table but I would have preferred more activity. The Amalfi coast
is stunning and walking around Positano would certainly keep you fit.
Then it was back to Sandfest round 2.
Having finished the sanding I gave the whole workshop a spring clean particularly
the floor as now I'm doing the hull sides the material will inevitably drag on the floor
and collect debris giving lumps and bumps in the laminate.
Then I cut 4 sections of peel ply for the hull side sheathing and rolled them onto
cardboard tubes ready for use.
