Finally we start the shed.

Not bad progress for two days and two evenings.

Meanwhile back to the boat. Having spent the last 6 months looking at the plans I'm getting less and less happy with the profile of the sheer. The main curvature is too near the bow, even in the 22" version. So having located some excellent hull design software on the web from Carlson-design I have set about designing my own version of the hull.

The Thames Traditional Boat rally was held at Henley on the 20th and 21st July. I went along on the Saturday and there were an abundance of Slipper launches. Needless to say I took plenty of pictures which will be usefull in tuning the hull shape for the authentic look.
