Having trimmed the sheer gussets such that clamped the width of the sheer is
a constant 155mm the next task was to bond them in place ~half way up the sheer clamp.
To jig this I made 6 off support pieces which I fixed to the underside
of the inner and outer sheer clamp using my wife's 'hot melt glue gun'. They
are under cut so any glue running down the sheer clamp won't bond the fixture
to the boat.
Bonding the sheer gusset ( I'm sure there must be a more nautical term for
these) was now a straightforward operation.
The final task before turning the boat over is to cut the holes for the propeller shaft. Time to order a hole saw...
